Which was held in New York at the ever-exclusive venue of The Pool.

Gloria Steinem, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Samuel L. Jackson, Julie Mehretu, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, Hayek, and her spouse, Gisele Bündchen, served as co-chairs for the inaugural dinner.

Not only was the occasion jam-packed with well-liked celebrities (many of whom made extremely infrequent red carpet-appearances), but they all showed up for the dinner in grand, theatrical fashion. This red carpet was not to be missed, from Steinem’s excellent ensemble to Hayek’s sparkling gown.
